This two-part Intentional Board Member Virtual Intensive will guide you through the process of identifying and obliterating the barriers to robust board member participation in fundraising. Together, we'll brainstorm a 'must do' and 'board choice' menu of fundraising engagement opportunities that aren't just about asking for money. We'll strengthen role clarity for prospective new board members in your recruitment process and enhance overall board performance monitoring.

Part I: 3-hour Intentional Board Member Virtual Intensive session to reimagine your board member recruitment criteria, review board member position descriptions, and brainstorm your board must do and board choice engagement menu
Part II: 4-hour Intentional Board Member Virtual Intensive session where participants will learn the ﬁve ways board members can ensure your organization thrives. It's also here that we will roll-out your customized board member must do and board choice engagement menu and gain individual board member commitments. Participants will leave this session with renewed passion and feeling equipped to be a high-performance board member.
Who should participate?
Intensive Part I: Recommended participants include Board Chairperson, Nominating Committee Chairperson, Executive Director or CEO, Chief Development Oﬃcer or Director of Development, and three additional participants.
Intensive Part II: Recommended participants include the entire board and individuals who participated in part one.
Note that Fundraising Transformed recommends two-to-four weeks between sessions 1 and 2.
